In 2021, the research unit continued to be affected by the COVID-19-pandemic. Thus, the general meeting of the 2020 business year had to take place in an online format and the practice transfer had to be postponed. The focus of 2021 was the research project “Digitisation of a practice-oriented course”. The aim of the research project is to digitise a practice-based course at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS) and to optimise the design of the communication processes that take place between teachers, learners and practice partners. After the conception of the course was finalised and the course was carried out in the autumn semester of 2020 (we would like to thank the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences for the good cooperation!), the research project could be completed in 2021. With the results of the final evaluation of the research project, a publication will be finalised and prepared for publication.
The full report from 2021 is available online under activity reports. You can find out about research projects, events, training activities and other activities of the Business Informatics Technology Centre. We hope you enjoy reading it.
